Must Haves:

Logistics/planning experience

Ability to work earlies, lates & weekends

Live within a commutable distance

Strong attention to detail & organisational skills

Confident IT skills (Outlook & Excel)

GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C+ in Maths & English

Ability to interpret data & prioritise workloads

Team player with strong communication skills

Hours: Rota-based 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am, following a rota pattern that changes every 12 weeks. This will eventually move to a 4 on / 4 off pattern.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate delivery schedules efficiently

Use computerised planning systems to optimise routes and resources

Ensure safe, cost-effective service for all customers

Provide excellent customer service

Manage operational and administrative tasks

Work independently and handle challenges in a fast-moving department

Prioritise tasks and respond quickly to issues as they arise

Optional Qualifications / Skills

Knowledge of UK geography

Experience with WinDMS

Own transport

Transport industry or planning experience

Understanding of Drivers Hours Regulations

CPC or other transport qualifications

A-Level education or equivalent
