Nursery Practitioner - Level 2

We’re looking for a childcare level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a lovely setting near Clapham, London. They specialise in early years education and childcare for children from 0 to 5 years old.

In the heart of the community, it is a bright, open-plan setting with separate areas for different age groups and a large garden, where they inspire learning through curiosity and discovery. The children enjoy lots of activities, from yoga, and construction to growing herbs and more! They encourage parents get involved too, and their onsite chef provides a healthy and nutritious menu.

As a Nursery Practitioner you will help to develop the children further, nurturing their curiosity and exploring their imagination.  You’ll support the holistic development of young children in the nursery, ensuring their safety, well-being, and preparation for future learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to ensure that each child enjoys rich and stimulating experiences tailored to their age and developmental stage
• Uphold and promote exceptional quality standards within the nursery, focusing on the environment, resources, and experiences offered to the children
• Work collaboratively within our team to deliver the Early Years Curriculum and foster a love for learning
• Create a secure, welcoming, and intellectually stimulating environment that nurtures the children emotionally

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience in a day care nursery
• Minimum childcare qualification at Level 2
• Ability to work harmoniously within a collaborative and friendly team
