Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development:
* Lead electrical/electronic design of products to meet customer, legislative, and internal standards.
* Ensure designs meet quality (accuracy), schedule (on time), and cost (within budget) targets.
* Maintain high professional standards across all design activities and provide technical guidance to colleagues.
* Support other departments with technical input for new business opportunities, including required documentation.
* Act as Design Project Leader (DPL) for assigned projects, responsible for the technical delivery and coordination of project teams.
* Contribute to departmental planning, budget management, and staff development.
* Suggest improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, or cost-effectiveness.
Knowledge & Experience:
* Minimum 8 years of experience in Electrical/Electronic design.
* Proficient with Electrical/Electronic CAD tools, MRP systems, and Microsoft Office.
* Experience with design verification, product development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Education & Qualifications:
* Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards professional registration is desirable
