We're looking for a talented Mobile Plant Operator to work for our client in Glasgow.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field.

The Role:
As the Mobile Plant Operator you'll report to the Team Leader and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.
Shifts: Mon to Fri, 06:30-16:30.

The role involves operating excavator 360, grab wheeled or loading shovel to perform a various of task including tipping and loading of vehicle outside in all weather conditions.

Requirements:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A strong work ethic and 'can-do' attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- UK right to work

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, attention to safety and follow project timelines and complete tasks within the set deadlines.

Loading outgoing vehicles and separating waste
Transporting material, feeding lines and hoppers with material for process
Performing daily checks in accordance with company procedures and site working plan
General duties & housekeeping throughout the working area
Supporting general yard operations & co-operate with site management as required
Be aware of environmental factors and act accordingly - weather conditions, wind, noise, dust and litter

In addition, you'll need the following:
- An excellent communication, team work and customer service skills
- An experience minimum of 1 year's ( desirable)
- A flexible attitude and a team player

Mobile Plant Operator - Person Specification

Valid wheeled excavator 360, loading shovel or telescopic handler licence
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Good team working skills and good communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
