Proxy Specialist - Hybrid - 6 months (Long term program)

My client is looking for a Proxy Specialist with strong experience migrating from Bluecoat (Symantec) to FortiProxy (Web Secure Gateway). You'll lead a key migration project within an enterprise environment, ensuring secure, smooth delivery.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (with strong potential for extension)
• Day Rate: £550 - £600 Per Day
• IR35 Status: Inside IR35
• Location: London - Hybrid
• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration from Bluecoat to FortiProxy
• Implement, test, and optimize the new Proxy solution
• Define strategy, timelines, and technical requirements
• Collaborate with security, network, and IT teams
• Ensure performance, compliance, and security standards
• Create migration documentation and support handover

Experience

• Proven experience with Bluecoat to FortiProxy migrations
• Deep expertise in FortiProxy/Web Secure Gateway
• Strong knowledge of Bluecoat configuration translation
• Background in web filtering, SSL inspection, DLP
• Solid understanding of Proxy architecture and TCP/IP, HTTP/S protocols
• Fortinet certifications (eg, NSE 4+), Bluecoat certs
