We are recruiting for a Sales Coordinator to join a leading international manufacturer within the architectural coatings and building finishes sector. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a business known for innovation, technical excellence, and a strong reputation across the construction and specification market.

This role is central to the success of the UK sales function, providing vital coordination, lead generation support, and customer engagement across architects, distributors, and regional sales teams. You will play a key part in driving commercial activity and ensuring opportunities are effectively managed from initial contact through to conversion.

Role Overview

The Sales Coordinator will support the external sales team by managing sales administration, coordinating customer engagement activity, booking CPD presentations, and identifying new project opportunities through construction intelligence platforms. You will ensure smooth communication between sales, marketing, operations, and distribution partners to help deliver business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Support & Coordination

* Provide daily administrative and organisational support to the external sales team

* Coordinate diaries, meetings, and follow-ups for regional sales managers

* Prepare pipeline updates, sales reports, and performance tracking documentation

* Book and arrange CPD presentations with architects, specifiers, and design practices

* Proactively engage architectural practices to secure CPD opportunities

* Manage CPD schedules, confirmations, materials, and follow-up actions

* Track CPD activity and support conversion into live project opportunities

* Use platforms such as Glenigan to identify new construction projects

* Qualify and distribute relevant leads to regional sales managers

* Support the development of a strong and consistent project pipeline

* Act as a key point of contact for distributors and internal teams

* Support pricing, stock availability, and order coordination queries

* Assist with product updates, promotions, and customer communications

* Ensure strong alignment between sales, operations, and customer service

* Support sales campaigns, product launches, and promotional activity

* Assist in coordinating exhibitions, trade events, and customer presentations

* Work closely with marketing to align lead generation and sales activity

Key Skills & Experience

* Experience in a Sales Coordinator, Sales Support, or Commercial Admin role

* Background in construction products, coatings, or building materials (desirable)
