SEN Learning Support Assistant - Year 4

Are you a compassionate, patient and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for an experienced LSA to support Year 4 pupils with additional learning needs at a welcoming primary school in N17.

About the Role:
We are seeking an SEN LSA to work closely with Year 4 pupils who require extra support with their learning, social development and emotional regulation. You will be working both 1:1 and in small groups, helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs

*

Assist the class teacher in implementing personalised learning plans

*

Support pupils with communication, engagement and behaviour

*

Help create a positive, safe and nurturing learning environment

*

Liaise with teaching staff, SENCO and wider support teams as needed

Requirements:

*

Previous experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH or similar)

*

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

*

A proactive, calm and patient approach

*

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
