CMM Inspector

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CMM Inspector to join a busy engineering/manufacturing company.

You will be responsible for carrying out dimensional inspection of precision components using CMM equipment, ensuring all parts meet required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate CMM machines (e.g. Mitutoyo, Aberlink, Zeiss)

* Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T

* Complete inspection reports and quality documentation

* Identify and report non-conformances

* Work closely with production and quality teams

* Ensure compliance with ISO standards and procedures

Requirements

* Proven experience as a CMM Inspector / Quality Inspector

* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances

* Experience within a precision engineering or fabrication environment

* High attention to detail

Desirable

* Experience with CMM programming (PC-DMIS, MCOSMOS, Aberlink)

* Background in fabrication, aerospace or heavy engineering
