Supply Desk are seeking a teaching assistant with lunch time duties for a primary school in Sholing

Starting from October 2025  - July 2026

Pay - £80 - £90 per day

Hours: 8:30 - 3:30

Supply Desk are currently working with a large 3 form entry school based in the Sholing area who are seeking a committed KS2  Teaching Assistant to support them predominately in a Year 6 classroom. This school is Ofsted rated “Good” and has a warm and inclusive ethos that supports all children.

Job Description:

Desire to work throughout Junior ages ranges  (7-11 year olds)
Able to support during lunchtimes to ensure smooth transitions for children
Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Spelling, Reading, Maths and Literacy
ICT literate and able to support children with simple ICT tasks
Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract

Location: Sholing
Start Date: October 2025
Contract Length: Long Term - Potential to become permanent
Hours: 08:30 -3:30 Monday - Friday

Individual Profile:

A nurturing and caring nature
GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
Experience of working with children/young people preferably in a school setting
Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
