Our manufacturing client are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their growing team. This is a key leadership role overseeing production operations and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will manage a team of 30-40 staff, including 3 Team Leaders, ensuring quality standards and operational efficiency are met.

We need someone who can take ownership of day-to-day production activities and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate closely with QA teams to maintain high-quality standards.

* Lead and motivate production teams, ensuring smooth workflow and problem-solving on the shop floor.

* Oversee electronics assembly processes, including circuit board building, soldering, and line operations.

* Implement and support Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean initiatives.

* Manage production schedules and resources effectively.

Requirements:

* 5+ years' experience in similar or adjacent roles within electronics manufacturing.

* Strong team leadership and supervisory experience.

* Technical knowledge of electronics assembly (circuit boards, soldering, testing).

* Background in test or process engineering is highly desirable.

* Excellent people skills and ability to manage large teams.

* CI/Lean experience would be a strong advantage.

Location: Southampton
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday, day shifts (Some flexibility within core hours)
