Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Lettings Coordinator - Birmingham - £25,000 basic (plus commission £27,000 OTE)

I am seeking a Lettings Coordinator for a busy Independent Estate Agency in Birmingham City Centre.

The successful Letting Coordinator must have strong administration and organisation skills, this is a office based position so no driving licence is required.

Your duties will include:

  • General administrative duties
  • Diary management including booking viewings, valuations and other appointments
  • Processing applications and referencing
  • Facilitating move ins and preparing tenancy agreement
  • Reporting repairs and maintenance to the landlord and obtaining their authorisation for repairs/quotes.
  • Organising repairs and maintenance with contractors and keeping the tenant and landlord fully up to date with job status’
  • Organising gas safety records
  • Ensuring all properties comply with health & safety legislation and are monitored and kept up to date
  • Speaking to landlords and tenants and organising tenancy renewals
  • Compiling written and photographic inventories
  • Booking property end of tenancies and dealing with all aspects of deposit disputes
  • Liaising with Landlords, Tenants and Contractors on a daily basis

Experience & Skills Required

  • Previous experience in a lettings agency or estate agency is preferred
  • Must be familiar with Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Must be well organised, have the ability to work within a team and be proactive.
