Description
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Provide professional guidance to the pharmacy team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards in the delivery of pharmacy services.
- Support the Pharmacist Manager in achieving business goals and targets.
- Deliver outstanding patient care by offering expert advice on prescriptions and healthcare products.
- Manage stock levels to ensure availability of key medications and products.
- Assist in the training and development of pharmacy team members.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Profile
A successful Deputy Pharmacist Manager should have:
- A degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience in a retail or healthcare environment, with a focus on patient care.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
