Position - Finance Controller

Salary - up to £75k

Location - Can be based from Royston

As a Finance Controller for our client, you'll lead financial operations, IT, and administration, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. You'll actively contribute to company initiatives, develop financial reporting systems, manage cash flow, and generate monthly and annual financial reports. Guiding the company towards its financial goals, you'll collaborate with auditing services, making strategic decisions crucial for financial health. As a leader in the finance department, you'll set targets aligning with our client's vision, playing a pivotal role in their growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Timely completion of management reporting and analysis.
- Budget/forecast creation and report generation.
- Conduct financial analysis including variance, margin, and overhead analysis.
- Provide clear financial reporting support to directors and managers.
- Simplify financial and business information for senior leadership.
- Ensure legal, tax compliance, and timely financial reporting duties.
- Coach and support the finance department team.

About You:

- Emerging leader with a finance passion.
- ACCA or CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to prioritize urgent tasks effectively.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- In-depth industry and market trends understanding.
- Commercially aware, adept at explaining headline numbers.
- Positive, 'can-do' attitude.
