About the Role:

As a key member of the finance team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

Your responsibilities will include

• Maintaining and reconciling the sales and purchase ledgers
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Posting journals and assisting with month-end processes
• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks

Role Requirements:

• Experience in a Finance or Bookkeeping role
• A solid understanding of core bookkeeping principles
• Proficiency with accounting software
• AAT Level 3/4, ICB, or IAB qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
• A proactive and organised approach, with great communication skills

Bonus points if you have:

• IFS experience
• Experience posting journals and assisting with management accounts
• Good MS Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
