Service Coordinator / Service Manager

We are supporting an established manufacturing company in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking a Service Coordinator / Service Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating service engineers, ensuring that jobs are completed on time, safely, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and formulate reports
- Schedule service engineers’ workload
- Manage site access, including risk and method statements
- Oversee works vehicles and their maintenance
- Order service parts in line with scheduled jobs
- Check and issue parts correctly
- Monitor training and arrange renewal of skill cards
- Order hire equipment required for sitework
- Undertake site investigations on reported issues
Day-to-Day Requirements
- Experienced Service Coordinator / Manager (time-served)
- Engineering background and trained in multiple aspects of engineering (desirable)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external customers
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering excellent customer service
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, completing tasks within set instructions and accepted practices
- Full clean driving licence
