Nurture Fostering is a small family run independent fostering agency based in Lewisham South East London. We are currently looking to recruit a Supervising social worker to provide professional support and supervision to our foster carers whilst promoting the safe care and development of the foster children in order for them to achieve their full potential. Supervising social workers currently carry a case-load of up to 10 foster carers and will have access to a car for the purpose of attending supervision and professional meetings.The successful applicant would need to hold an appropriate social work qualification: CQSW, DipSW or CSS and to be registered with Social Work England. In addition to this requirement you will need to have experience of either working in the fostering sector or with Looked after children, a current driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.The role of the Supervising Social Worker is to support and nurture the foster carers, conduct and participate in Form F assessments, participate in learning and development for both yourself and the foster carers. Participation and support in attending either in person or virtually: PEP’s.
