Here's a great opportunity for an experienced Structural Revit Technician to step into a leadership role with a well-respected independent civil and structural engineering consultancy based in St. Helens.

This is a single-office business of around 20 staff, with a strong pipeline of projects and a solid reputation in the industrial and residential sectors. They handle everything from large-scale industrial sheds and logistics facilities to bespoke residential developments - a mix of steel frames, RC detailing, and everything in between.

With continued growth, they're now looking to appoint a Senior Structural Revit Technician to become the technical lead within the business. You'll be responsible for managing and delivering Revit output across a range of building projects, while also mentoring apprentices and junior technicians to help shape the next generation of the team.

What you'll be doing:

Taking the lead on structural Revit delivery across a variety of industrial and residential projects
Producing high-quality 3D models and 2D technical drawings for both engineers and clients
Supporting engineers with coordinated models and practical, buildable detailing
Acting as the internal authority on BIM/Revit, improving workflows and standards where needed
Training, guiding, and mentoring junior staff and apprentices
Supporting the overall efficiency and quality of technical delivery within the business

What they're looking for:

A highly capable structural technician with strong Revit and AutoCAD skills
A good understanding of building structures - steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
Comfortable taking responsibility for your own workload and overseeing others
Experience working in a UK-based engineering consultancy
A practical mindset with excellent attention to detail
Someone who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping junior staff develop

What's on offer:

£40,000 - £45,000 salary depending on experience + discretionary annual bonus
