KS1 Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

Pay Rate: £105-£115 per day
Working Pattern: Part-time | 2-3 days per week (ad hoc)

Class Mate is seeking an experienced Level 3 KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the NG21 area. This part-time, ad hoc role is ideal for someone flexible, proactive, and confident supporting learning across Year 1 and Year 2.

This position is ongoing and will involve working 2-3 days per week, depending on school need. If you enjoy variety and thrive in supportive KS1 classrooms, this is a brilliant opportunity to make an impact.

Role Responsibilities

Provide high-quality support across KS1, working with groups and on a 1:1 basis.

Assist with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy tasks.

Support children with additional needs, helping to remove barriers to learning.

Prepare and organise learning resources as directed by the class teacher.

*

Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

*

Maintain a calm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - essential.

Strong recent experience within KS1.
