Robert Half Finance and Accounting are exclusively partnering with a leading Management Consultancy in London who are looking to recruit an immediate, qualified interim Financial Controller for 6-9 months.

Role:

Our client is looking to recruit an immediate, qualified Financial Controller for a 6 month contract and as part of this role you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four
• Oversee the daily operations of AP, AR, and Payroll functions across multiple regions.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and compliance with internal controls. Revenue Reporting & Forecasting
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of revenue reporting.
• Collaborate with client management alongside our business performance analyst to forecast revenue and identify variances. Balance Sheet Management
• Oversee the team to maintain and reconcile the balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes. Compliance & Controls
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Support external auditors with timely and accurate information.
• Ensure tax compliance across regions. Monthly reporting
• Lead the preparation and delivery of the monthly financial reporting pack for the board, including variance analysis and key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Oversee the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
• Provide insightful commentary and recommendations based on financial results.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Profile:

The ideal candidate for this interim Financial Controller role will be a qualified accountant CA, ACA or ACCA who has proven experience in financial controls. You will be confident leading a team of 4 and managing multiple P&Ls.

You must be immediate or on a 1 week notice to be considered for this role.

This is a prestigious global Management Consultancy, known for delivering high-quality strategic solutions across multiple industries. Based in Central London, the role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days per week in the office.

Salary & Benefits:

This interim Financial Controller role will be paying circa £#removed# per day, dependant on experience.
