About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team in Newbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and education for children in their early years.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
• Support children’s development across all areas, including social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to train)
