About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team in Newbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and education for children in their early years.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s development across all areas, including social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
- Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to train)
