Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with complex needs? Our school in Folkestone are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our specialist team.

About Us:We are a nurturing and inclusive setting for up to 37 pupils aged 5–17, spanning both primary and secondary phases. We specialise in supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and attachment difficulties. Our multidisciplinary approach involves close collaboration with families, carers, key workers, psychologists, and other professionals to provide holistic and personalised education.

The Role:As an SEN Teacher, you will:

• Deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils
• Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
• Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider team to implement EHCPs
• Monitor progress and adapt strategies to ensure positive outcomes
• Foster strong relationships with pupils, families, and external agencies

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience working with children with SEMH and/or complex needs
• A nurturing, resilient, and flexible approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
