We are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Loughborough with the appointment of a Shift Engineering Team Leader.

The RoleThis is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for leading a small team of engineers to ensure plant performance, reliability, and safety. You will:

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers within the maintenance team
• Deliver preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise output
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems
• Drive improvements in OEE through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across site

What We're Looking For

• Time-served mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (minimum Level 3)
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Experience within industrial/manufacturing plant maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and performance
