Our client was established in 1945 and has developed a strong client base in the Thames Valley,
Greater London and Home Counties area, in particular covering Slough, Maidenhead and
Reading. They are an exciting firm that offers a tailored service to their clients, with services
covering both accounts & tax.
The Tax Junior/Assistant will be responsible for:
 Personal Tax Returns for sole traders, partnerships, directors and High Net Worth
individuals.
 Liaising directly with clients.
 Attending client meetings.
 Assisting Tax Senior and Tax Director as required.
 The preparation of rental income and expenditure accounts and small sole trader
accounts.
 General tax administration including dealing with HMRC, general tax post, statements of
account and PAYE Coding Notices, etc.
The successful candidate may have the below skills and experience however that are not
required :
 Experience in completing Self Assessment Tax Returns and knowledge of income tax
generally is a must.
 Experience with Microsoft office including word and excel.
 Knowledge of Capital Gains Tax and Corporation Tax is preferred but additional training
can be given.
 Confident and professional communication skills.
 GCSE Maths and English Language C grade or equivalent.
 A Levels (preferable)
 Full and Clean UK Driving Licence (preferable)
 The ability to work in a tight-knit team and to stringent deadlines is a must.
 ATT qualification is preferred but not essential.
