What You’ll Get to Do:The CDM Program is managed within the DHS National Protection and Programs Directorate, (NPPD)/Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C)/Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division, responsible for enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and communications infrastructure. The DHS CDM Program mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The CDM Program defends the United States (U.S.) Federal Information Technology (IT) networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks.More About the Role:Provides thought- and technical-leadership in one or more key areas. Provides expertise to government customers. Provides leadership to and management of a large and diverse team. Provides support to the preparation and evaluation of technical documents, papers, studies, analysis, and briefings. Prepares and executes detailed analyses of project and program management activities. Identifies system requirements for operations, and works with other engineers and staff to develop designs and integrate components. Defines operations, provides technical program direction and oversees integration and prototype development efforts. Works closely with the Delivery team and customers to assess feasibility of requested deliverables and establish product delivery schedule. Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Develops and may conduct training programs. Recommends future direction or projects to management. Provides expertise and direction in the development or modification of complex programs. Provides advice and guidance to less experienced staffYou’ll Bring These Qualifications:Top Secret ClearanceA minimum of 6 years of experience managing technical integration and solution delivery issues.A minimum of 4 years of IT security operational experience, including assessment of information assurance and interoperability.Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:It is desirable that the Lead Systems Integration Manager has the following qualifications:A minimum of eight years of experience managing integration teams.Experience implementing IT security projects in complex and heterogeneous environments, including the following: 1. Experience developing, configuring, and delivering COTS software in support of enterprise security solutions.Experience leading integration planning activities of multiple U.S. Government Agencies.Experience leading multi-organizational and matrixed technical resources.Demonstrated expertise in security policy and implementation.Experience developing and integrating Continuous Monitoring capabilities.
