Job role: Design and Technology Teacher - Full Time Temporary Position to continue up to end of the summer term with potential to become permanent.

Pay: Paid to scale (capped at M6)(£144-200)

About the role: Our Doncaster Secondary School client is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 students with varying abilities and will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, delivering and assessing engaging and challenging Design and Technology lessons for students of all abilities.
• Supporting students to develop their skills and knowledge in a range of Design and Technology subject areas.
• Working closely with colleagues to create and implement curriculum and assessment plans.
• Supporting students to achieve their full potential through differentiated teaching and support.
• Providing extra-curricular opportunities for students to develop their interests and skills in Design and Technology.

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification such as QTS or PGCE.
• Experience teaching Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4 level.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging and challenging lessons.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• DBS on the update service (although this can be obtained via Reed)
