CNC Machinist / Programmer

Location: Mansfield

Salary: £24,000- £28,000 - Depending on expereince

Hours: 39 hours per week, 8.00am - 4.30 pm Mon-Thurs, 8.00am - 3.30pm Friday

We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist/ Programmer to join a busy engineering company in the Mansfield area. Due to location, you will need to drive and have your own transport.

The duties of CNC Machinist/ Programmer include:

Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models
Loading raw materials into the CNC machine
Inputting the product design into the computer modelling software
Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job
Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications
Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process
Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product
Cleaning and maintaining the machine
Training new staff on machine operation proceduresThe ideal candidate for the role of CNC Machinist / Programmer will have previous experience within an engineering environment as well as:

Strong attention to detail
Experience in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems
Ability to work independently and closely follow directions
