As a Transport Planner, you'll play a key role in optimising routes, ensuring compliance, and helping to maintain the highest standards of performance within a fast-paced logistics environment.

The Role

• Plan, coordinate, and optimise driver routes and daily workloads
• Monitor transport operations to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery
• Manage driver and vehicle schedules, updating plans in real time when required
• Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication
• Ensure full compliance with legal, safety, and company policies
• Support the Transport Manager with performance monitoring and KPI reporting

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in Transport Planning or Fleet Coordination
• Knowledge of EU Tachograph Regulations & Working Time Directive (WTD)
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Solid geographical knowledge of UK & Ireland
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems on the go
