TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a Fabric Maintenance Engineer to work for one of the UKs leading facilities companies covering a large static commercial site on a contract basis.
As a Fabric Maintenance Engineer you'll be carrying out fabrication repairs of various commercial buildings within the large site. Some of your regular day-to-day duties will include:
* To have adequate technical knowledge to be able to work on their own and carry out fabric building repairs and installation work without detailed supervision in the most efficient & economical manner and in accordance with the relevant legislation.
* To accurately complete all site records & forms, e.g, job packs, risk assessments etc.
* To carry out co-ordination with others on site, to ensure works are completed within timescales set.
* To ensure work activities are carried out safely and to high quality.
* To provide practical solutions to building repairs and installation work.
* To meet deadlines (response times) for planned and reactive maintenance works.
* Recognise and communicate with the client and line manager by recording any change or workplace event that may delay or disrupt the job in which the works are to be carried out.
* To identify procure & progress material requisitions & (follow up deliveries where delegated).
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8AM-4:30PM / 8:30AM-5PM.
Pay: £22 per hour (CIS)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
* Experience working as a Fabric Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician
* Recognised trade/engineering NVQ or City & Guilds qualification
* Strong IT skills working on PPMs via tablets/IT software.
* Commercial maintenance experience.
* No spent or unspent criminal convictions. - a DBS check will be required prior to your start.
