Hi all, I'm currently recruiting for a Service Manager for a client based over in the eastbourne area. Please apply for more details.

Hours - 37.5 Per Week

Location - Eastbourne

Rate - £250 - £275 Per day Umbrella

Ensure that there is effective staff communication and involvement within area of responsibility, and that staff have the opportunity to be involved in and influence the planning and development of services

Implement efficient and effective monthly service business meetings with multidisciplinary attendance as a forum for delivering against operational performance and financial targets, including Finance Improvement Programme (FIP).

With delegated responsibility from the Assistant General Manager/General Manager:

Manage the services to the highest standards, ensuring that patients, carers and families are treated with dignity and respect.

Ensure the implementation of agreed targets/objectives in order to deliver the Trust Strategy.

Ensure the services team are able to meet all national and local performance standards through the establishment of speciality performance objectives and securing the infrastructure to support the levels of performance required.

Ensure the services utilise available performance information to facilitate the monitoring of performance and the opportunities for improvements, agreeing plans to improve service efficiency and quality.

Ensure data relating to activity is accurate, complete and informs service planning.

Ensure that the Equality & Diversity action plan is implemented within the services.

Identify the need for and lead the development of IT projects within the services.

To take a lead for flow in the services, attending the daily bed meetings as required, taking away any actions given to the services.

With delegated responsibility from the Assistant General Manager/General Manager:

To ensure services have robust financial budget management processes and to ensure that all assets operated by the services are utilised effectively.

To agree activity levels and performance measures with the Assistant General Manager/General Manager and manage services to achieve targets.

To ensure that the services meets their patient access targets.

Together with the Clinical Leads and Matrons, review and maintain clinical standards in order to ensure that the highest standards are achieved in relation to Clinical Governance and national policies.

To ensure governance structures are in place in line with and in support of the Trust's Governance structures.
