Our client, a leading global manufacturing company, is currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician to join their team. The Assembly Technician will have a background in fine tolerance assembly and would ideally have experience of working with optics, lenses or sensors.

Key Responsibilities for the Assembly Technician

Fine tolerance Assembly following technical diagrams
Kitting parts from the ERP production orders for sub-assemblies and final production
Calibration of completed products, using company calibration equipment and recording serial numbers and calibration data/other records in line with company procedures
Packing the finished range of products, to fulfil customer orders - ensuring readiness for on-time shipping
Keeping a tidy and organised working environment and stores areaKey Experience for the Assembly Technician

Relevant work experience in a high-quality organisation
Close tolerance assembly skills.
Competent with precision measuring equipment i.e. micrometers and verniers
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, general assembly drawings, department build instructions/procedures and geometric tolerances.
Able to operate a variety of small hand tools.Please apply as directed
