Stock Controller Administrator

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller Administrator to join our well-established client based in Northampton, Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering great benefits and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 06:00am – 14:00pm or 15:00pm – 23:00pm
• No weekend work

Rates of Pay
• £13.67 - 23.36 per hour
• Weekly pay

Day-to-Day DutiesAs a Stock Controller Administrator, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and updating inventory systems
• Investigating stock discrepancies and supporting regular stock audits
• Processing stock adjustments, returns, and stock movements
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports
• Liaising with warehouse teams, suppliers, transport, and internal departments
• Handling inbound and outbound documentation
• Monitoring stock availability and highlighting shortages
• Ensuring data entry tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Supporting the management team with general administrative tasks
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and stock control procedures

Essential SkillsTo be successful as a Stock Controller Administrator, you will need:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
• A professional and proactive attitude

Desirable Experience
• Previous experience in stock control or administration
• Experience working in a warehouse or fast-paced environment

Training Provided
• Full training will be provided, with additional support throughout
