The Role

As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The successful KS1 Teacher will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where every child can succeed.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting the development of core literacy and numeracy skills
Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Working collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice

About You

The ideal KS1 Teacher will be passionate, adaptable, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils. You will have strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to teaching.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within a primary setting (KS1 desirable)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Interest in contributing to wider school life (including potential TLR opportunities)
