Highly Competitive Salary and Benefits Package Location: London Role opening date: 10/052019 Closing date: 08/07/2019 THE OPPORTUNITY DLA's transfer pricing practice has seen a significant growth, opening up opportunities for entry level positions within the London based team. As a part of this team, you will assist senior team members to deliver client projects. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform benchmarking analysis for various types of transactions Perform economic and financial analysis using statistical methods Draft transfer pricing and benchmarking reports according to international and local rules Participate in business and asset valuations Develop sophisticated financial and tax impact models Participate in the design and implementation of operating models for multinationals Assist in fact finding interviews with client executives from a range of industries Undertake comprehensive industry reviews and understand business or company value drivers Work with senior team members on submissions to tax authorities in relation to audits, advance pricing agreements and mutual agreement procedures Develop and maintain relationships with team members and other practice groups within DLA Piper ABOUT YOU Masters level degree focused on Finance/Economics/Econometrics, or Bachelors (2:1 or above, or equivalent) in similar area (with a desire for further study) Previous transfer pricing experience is not necessary High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Excellent business writing and communication skills in English Ability to comprehend and work with large financial datasets Showcase commercial awareness and a desire to learn and develop technically Ability to integrate and work effectively within the transfer pricing and the tax team High level enthusiasm with a "can do" attitude Right to work in the UK ABOUT US DLA Piper is a global law firm with lawyers located in more than 40 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
