About the RoleAs a Senior Building Physics Consultant, you'll lead and contribute to the delivery of innovative, low-carbon design strategies across a range of sectors. You'll work closely with other disciplines to integrate building performance into early-stage design, delivering real value to clients and end users.
Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a building physics or sustainability-focused role

A degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Design, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline

Solid understanding of UK sustainability standards and guidance (e.g. Part L, TM52, TM59, BB101)

Proficiency with simulation tools such as IES-VE, TAS, or similar for modelling thermal comfort, energy performance, daylight, and ventilation

Experience in life cycle assessments or whole-life carbon analysis is highly desirable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A commercially aware, solutions-focused mindset

A full UK driving licence is preferred
Key Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality building performance analysis, strategies, and design support

Leading or contributing to projects at Stages 2 and 3, integrating daylighting, ventilation, and energy analysis

Preparing and reviewing technical reports, planning submissions, and fee proposals

Supporting business development activities and maintaining client relationships

Leading or supporting internal CPD delivery and external design workshops

Mentoring junior staff and contributing to service improvement
