Female Support Worker (Driver Required)

Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon-Fri, 8:50am-4:20pm Location: Christchurch, Dorset

Important Note

This role requires a female Support Worker with a full UK manual driving licence, in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, to meet specific personal care needs.

Role Summary

We're seeking a caring and reliable Female Support Worker to provide person‑centred support to adults with disabilities. You'll help individuals build independence, assist with personal care, and drive company vehicles as part of daily support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality day‑to‑day care

Support individuals in meaningful activities

Assist with all aspects of personal care

Drive company vehicles and escort individuals

Administer medication (after training)

Maintain accurate records and follow policies

Keep training up to date and attend supervision

Person Requirements

Basic literacy and numeracy

Full UK manual driving licence

Female (Genuine Occupational Requirement)

Background in health and social care

Experience with disabilities (desirable)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Person‑centred, respectful, organised, self‑motivated
