Carry out root-cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone and Lean methodologies.

Optimise equipment availability and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage PLC backups, version control, and change management.

Deliver hands-on training and coaching to shift Technicians, enhancing site-wide technical capability.

Maintain and update technical documentation, including hardware maps, configuration files and programs.

Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards for both internal and contractor activities.

What We're Looking For

Strong multiskilled maintenance background (mechanical & electrical).

Ability to fault-find and modify PLC programs (minimum requirement).

Confident working with automated / controls equipment, with solid understanding of PC, PLC, and communication systems.

Excellent diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Experience using SCADA/EIS or similar data-driven tools is beneficial.

Strong communication skills and the ability to support and guide colleagues.

Forces/Armed Forces background highly valued.

Must have full right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).

What's On Offer

Competitive salary + overtime opportunities (£1,000-£2,000 typical annually).

Excellent pension scheme (up to 10% employer match).

6x Death-in-Service cover.

25 days holiday + bank holidays.

Access to onsite gym and training resources.

Huge potential for progression in a growing technical team
