Location: Washington
£63,600 per year + shift allowance

Hours: 2 shift rotation

6:45 - 15:03 (days)

15:00 - 23:18 (lates)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Shift Manager to join a high-volume, precision manufacturing business in Washington.

This is a senior leadership role, responsible for driving shift performance, developing teams, and translating site strategy into effective day-to-day operations.

What you will be doing:

* Lead Press Shop operations, delivering against quality, cost, delivery, safety and morale (QCDMS) targets

* Take ownership of shift performance and operational output

* Support medium and long-term operational planning

* Coach and develop supervisors and operators, building leadership capability within the team

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and data-led performance improvements

* Manage shift planning and manpower optimisation

* Ensure compliance with health & safety, HR policies and company standards

* Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve site and business objectives

What you will bring to the team:

You will have:

* Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Operations Management or a related discipline

* Experience in a supervisory or management role within fast-paced manufacturing

* Strong understanding of QCDMS and continuous improvement methodologies

* Experience managing KPIs and operational performance

* Excellent communication, leadership and decision-making skills
