Interim Finance Analyst

An interim finance analyst is sought to join this distribution business located in Knutsford. 3- 6 months.

The business is a successful waste management business on a growth trajectory. With a huge focus on the environment the team is informal, friendly and hard working. Always looking for ways to improve and welcome new ideas and innovations, this will provide great experience for a finance analyst.

You will have excellent data analysis skills with experience in stock and sub contractor spend analysis.

Month end duties working closely with the FD, include:

• Completing all balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconciling the companies bank accounts.
• Preparing accruals and prepayments
• Reconciling significant monthly stock.
• Preparing the stock valuations and workshop job reporting.
• Preparing and posting all nominal ledger journals.
• Reviewing, investigating and providing analysis of areas of expenditure.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Maintaining the fixed asset register.
• Preparing and publishing the weekly profit & Loss estimate and the weekly cash flow.
• Completing all ONS surveys.
• Assistance with preparing the VAT return.
• Opening new supplier/customer accounts.
• Perform additional finance and admin tasks and responsibilities, deemed to be within their capabilities, to fulfil the needs of the business.
• Work with other departments on finance related activity.

YOU:

• Experienced management accountant
• Manufacturing experience advantageous.
• Strong excel skills, SQL beneficial
• Personable and professional
• Flexible hours- 4 days welcome
