Role: Product Procurement Engineer

Location: County Durham

Contract: Agency | Full-Time (36.5 hrs/week, 5 days on-site) | 12 Months + Contract

Travel: Up to 20%

Join our clients team as a Product Procurement Engineer, where you'll play a key role in bringing new products to life, from concept to launch. You'll work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to manage part development, drive cost efficiencies, and improve product quality.

What You'll Do:

Lead APQP & cost management through to PPAP
Support NPI, CPI, and NSI initiatives
Implement supplier strategies aligned with category goals
Drive quality improvements and VAVE activities
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and procurementWhat You'll Bring:

Degree or equivalent experience
Strong supplier management & product development experience
Data-driven decision-making skills
