QHSE Manager
Location: Market Harborough
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefit

On behalf of our client, a leading engineering and manufacturing group, we are currently recruiting for a talented and highly motivated QHSE Manager to join their senior leadership team in Market Harborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality-focused professional to take the lead on key initiatives including the implementation of ISO 45001, followed by ISO 14001. The successful candidate will manage a small team and report directly to a company director, playing a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of ISO 45001 and drive progress towards ISO 14001 

Take ownership of the company's quality management system and project-specific quality processes

Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely closeout of non-conformities

Support and mentor team members while promoting a proactive QHSE culture

Analyse processes and performance data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements

Ideal Candidate:
Background in engineering or manufacturing, ideally with a relevant technical or scientific degree

NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ Level 6 preferred; NEBOSH General Certificate also considered

Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 (lead auditor certification desirable)

Experience implementing and managing ISO systems and conducting audits

Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis, with a strong focus on process improvement
