Job Summary

We are recruiting an Accounts Semi-Senior in Swindon to prepare client accounts, statutory accounts, and tax computations for partnerships, LLPs, and companies. This role provides hands-on experience across statutory compliance, VAT, CT600, and management accounts, while working closely with clients and senior managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare statutory accounts and tax computations for clients
• Prepare management accounts, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and trial balances
• Draft and review VAT returns and Corporation Tax returns (CT600)
• Assist with HMRC enquiries and statutory company filings
• Produce reports on financial statements, systems, and business issues
• Liaise with clients and senior staff to ensure smooth workflow

About You

• Working towards AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualification
• Experience in a similar accountancy practice role
• Professional, organised, and accurate approach to work
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management
• Effective communicator with client-facing experience
