Salary: £30000 - £33000/annum

My client, an eco-minded, long-established Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their already-established team of specialist consultants, near the beautiful, ancient city of Chester.

Essential Criteria:

A Degree or Higher Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar, relevant qualification)
Demonstrable experience of having worked with infrastructure engineering
Experience of having worked in a design-based role, within a consultancy setting
Excellent working knowledge of flood risk and drainage design, with experience of having authored Flood Risk Assessments and produced Drainage Strategies and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
Good knowledge of adoptable highways and design
Extensive knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S38, S278, S104, etc.) and their applications within the industry
Competent in the use of the relevant software packages, including XP Solutions (MicroDrainage) and Civils3D

It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Civil Infrastructure Engineer to possess the following skills:

Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work on own initiative
Good analytical mindset and excellent technical skills
Outstanding standard of written English, especially when applied to report writing

In your exciting new role of Civil Infrastructure Engineer, you will join an established team of experts, with a view to developing and refining your knowledge and skills as you progress through your career within the company. The role will involve a number of challenging responsibilities, including:

Producing flood risk and drainage strategies, authoring Flood Risk Assessments, and producing adoptable drainage designs
Contributing to a range of infrastructure projects
Authoring, reviewing, and refining technical reports and drawings, and producing calculations
Collaboratively working with individuals and teams across a variety of other disciplines
