Maintenance Supervisor

Full Time - Permanent

Location: Birmingham

Hours: Day Shift Monday to Friday.  

Basic Salary: £40,000.00 to £50,000.00 Per Annum

Our client is the world's leading manufacturer established for over 50 years. Due to further growth plans, they are seeking a highly dynamic Maintenance Supervisor on a Full Time Permanent basis who is highly proficient in brazing, soldering, bench fitting, induction heating furnaces and inductor coils as a Maintenance Supervisor.

As a Maintenance Supervisor:

Quoting of work to be carried out
Assisting sales team with accurate quoting/site visits as required as a Maintenance Supervisor
Identifying material requirements as a Maintenance Supervisor
Brazing, soldering, bench fitting, induction heating furnaces and inductor coils as a Maintenance Supervisor.
Identifying machining / fabricating requirements
Identifying tooling requirements as Maintenance Supervisor
Ordering non-standard parts and materials for the purpose of brazing, soldering, bench fitting, induction heating furnaces and inductor coils as a Maintenance Supervisor
Liaising with suppliers, customer and other necessary stakeholders
Budget control during progress of all jobs
Ensuring quality standards are met regarding brazing, soldering, bench fitting, induction heating furnaces and inductor coils as a Maintenance Supervisor
Ensuring safe working practices
General administrative duties the purpose of brazing, soldering, bench fitting, induction heating furnaces and inductor coils as a Maintenance Supervisor
Maintenance Supervisor Candidate:

You will have previous Supervisory or Team Leader or Workshop Manager experience within brazing, soldering, bench fitting, induction heating furnaces and inductor coils.  
Ability to communicate at all levels including customers and suppliers internationally.
Good written and verbal communication skills

The ideal candidate must have a good level of mechanical and/or engineering background and is highly proficient in brazing, soldering, bench fitting, induction heating furnaces and inductor coils.
