Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

  • Routine setting up and maintenance of sewing machines and tables
  • Repair of sewing machines as required
  • Repair, maintain, and attend breakdowns of all plant and machinery, including building maintenance, and any other work allocated by the Engineering Manager, Technical Engineering, Operations and Production Directors
  • Assist with the with the upgrade of equipment and installation of new equipment
  • Complete hot work permits to ensure this work is undertaken in a safe manner
  • Ensure maintenance activities are controlled and do not pose a risk of cross contamination
  • Undertake callouts as scheduled by the Technical Engineering Director
  • Maintain daily work records
  • Ensuring all safe working procedures/instructions are always followed whilst performing maintenance and repair work
  • Ensure all waste is correctly segregated and disposed of in the appropriate waste container.
  • Have experience in a heavy/ plant environment
