Job Title: Business Development Manager - Plumbing & Heating Tools/ Consumables

Area to be covered: South East (South of the Thames, Dartford to Brighton and everything South East of it)

Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 + 2.5% commission of all sales (realistic commission £10,000+ Uncapped )

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating Tools/ Consumables will involve:

* Field sales position selling a distributed range of plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration products such as: hand tools, cutting & drilling, sealants, adhesives, connectors, pipe fittings, guttering, drainage and related consumables

* Selling to independent plumbers / builders merchants such as: UK Plumbing Supplies and Plumbase

* Circa 60 accounts on patch, you will be tasked with growing customers on the area to approx. 120

* Inheriting a small £300,000 turnover, targeted to grow this to £600,000

* 50% new business development, 50% account management role

* Working with customer accounts with turnovers between £4,000-£25,000

* Regular liaising with and reporting to company Director

The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating Tools/ Consumables with:

* Must have a sold to plumber merchants and builders merchants

* Ideally contacts with independent plumber merchants

* Ideally from a plumbing & heating / HVAC tools product background however would consider other building products

* IT literate and hold a full UK driving license

* Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality

* Driven and hungry to succeed

* Excellent communication skills

* Comfortable with working both autonomously and as part of a team
