Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children's learning? We are currently seeking a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team and work within one of our valued partnership secondary schools in North Liverpool, starting in September 2025.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience or a strong interest in supporting children with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and SENCO to provide tailored support to help a pupil access the curriculum and thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support for a pupil with specific learning or behavioural needs
Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and external agencies
Monitor progress and contribute to the development of individual support plans
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role (1:1 experience desirable)
A genuine interest in working with children with additional needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, nurturing, and resilient attitude
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous
