We are seeking an Exams Administrator to join our dedicated team. This role involves coordinating and invigilating college exams, ensuring a smooth and compliant examination process. The successful candidate will work closely with the Examinations Team Leader and other staff to deliver an efficient examination experience for both staff and students.

  • Annual Salary: £18.47ph
  • Location: South East London
  • Job Type: Part time 21 hours pw

Day-to-day of the role Exams Administrator :

  • Liaise with the Team Leader or Examinations Officer to plan and schedule invigilation for exams.
  • Book invigilation cover for online tests and support Exams Invigilators during exams.
  • Manage the setup of online tests, including downloading tests to PCs, logging in candidates, and ensuring all candidates receive proper instructions.
  • Conduct exams in strict accordance with exam rules and regulations.
  • Handle the download and distribution of results as directed.
  • Address minor technical issues with online software and maintain the online test room.
  • Assist with general duties as required, including communication with students and handling examination materials.
  • Participate in the training of new invigilators and ensure compliance with JCQ Regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Exams Administrator role:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web browsers.
  • Experience in administration and a strong ability to use computers for downloading and managing examination software/materials.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, confident manner.
  • Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel across campuses as needed.
  • A good general standard of education including Maths and English.
