VIQU has partnered with a leading financial services organisation to find a motivated PMO Specialist to support their busy Change function. This 12-month opportunity involves driving project governance, ensuring adherence to change management standards, and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a confident team player with financial services experience who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities of the PMO Specialist:
- Contribute to and maintain Change Management governance, processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Assist Project Managers in following frameworks and best practices, escalating issues as required.
- Support deployment of the Change Management Framework and provide guidance to stakeholders.
- Monitor programme and project progress, budgets, risks, and compliance.
- Track and report on governance, financial trends, and post-project review actions.
- Administer project management tools, ensuring accuracy, optimising functionality, and promoting best practice.
- Foster a culture of progress and adaptability across the Change community.
- Build strong relationships with project teams and senior stakeholders, maintaining positivity under pressure.
Key Requirements of the PMO Specialist:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Management Office or as a project professional within Financial Services, Wealth, or Asset Management.
- Strong experience supporting Change Management or PMO functions.
- Confident working independently in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills required; Power BI skills preferred.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools where appropriate.
- Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
