Job Objective:

As an Account Handler within Credit, your main objective will be to provide a comprehensive credit insurance service to existing clients. You will work closely with the Directors and the team to manage credit insurance policies, including credit limits, overdues, and claims. Your role will also involve developing and maintaining strong relationships with insurers to secure favorable terms and coverage for our clients. Additionally, you will support the New Business function in the office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the retention and development of existing clients.

* Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing value-added services.

* Maintain regular contact with clients to meet their insurance requirements, primarily focusing on credit lines.

* Assist in the new business process, including risk assessment, placement with insurers, and report generation.

* Manage your own diary system to proactively handle client and insurer documentation and provide timely service.

* Work closely with the claims manager for complex or large claims from your clients.

* Maintain client filing systems in line with company procedures.

* React promptly to client and prospect needs, ensuring effective communication and meeting deadlines.

* Demonstrate the ability to work independently, solving problems using initiative when required.

* Provide debiting instructions to Head Office for accurate and timely ensure remuneration.

* Support Account Managers and Directors in client meetings.

Candidate Profile:

* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.

* 5+ years of Credit Control experience

* Bring drive, passion and willingness to your role and

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

* Understanding of claims procedures
