The basic salary is £30,500 as the supervisor you will be on call 1-4 and for this you will receive an additional lump sum of 13,040 paid yearly on top of the salary so over salary is £43540.

My client is looking for a Building Services Supervisor/Specialist to manage Mechanical services and other building services on site to a high standard, to ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard to reduce failure, ensure contractors working on a Research centre in St Albans work to a high standard and safely. The role is for an experienced Mechanical supervisor who understands complex Mechanical systems, MTHW/LTHW distribution systems, has legionella experience, experience in handling gas bottles, servicing of gas boilers commercial and domestic including associated equipment, pump and pressurisation repair and fault-finding experience in all types of pipe work and repairs including drainage. The role has a call out element 1 in 4 weeks on call out.
The role will be to manage Mechanical services on site being responsible for a team to carry out Planned Preventative maintenance (ppm) to a high standard working to SFG20, manage reactive tasks carried out by team keeping reactive calls to level achieving SLA/KPI’s, supervisor contractors working on site whilst carrying out there works, writing permits ensuring work carried out safely empowered to stop works if they deem unsafe. The role will require the individual to have in-depth commercial building services knowledge, be a good communicator, possess good planning skill, and health and safety knowledge.
